For wholesalers and manufacturers selling into major retailers, chargebacks and deductions represent significant avoidable revenue loss. Retailer chargebacks can erode roughly 5 percent of a wholesaler's revenue, an industry benchmark that represents a large and largely recoverable leak. Yet most of it goes undisputed, because gathering the documentation and building each claim by hand takes more manual effort than lean back office teams can spare.
The partnership addresses this directly. ROI-AI's AI agent, Roy, gathers the evidence, builds the dispute, and tracks it to resolution, turning hours of manual back-office work into an automated process that recovers dollars wholesalers would otherwise write off. The capability is already live in production with an AMTERP customer.
"Wholesalers on AMTERP are sitting on real recoverable dollars buried in manual back-office work, and the answer should not be a separate AI project for every one of them," said Pouya Samangouei, Founder and CEO of ROI-AI. "By bringing our AI agent, Roy, into the AMTERP, an OBS customer gets their chargebacks disputed automatically, without leaving the system they already trust."
"The AMTERP is the system our wholesalers run their business on, so we do not embed just any technology into it. We chose ROI-AI because they put AI to work on chargebacks, one of the operational headaches that quietly costs our customers real money, without our customers having to stand up an AI project of their own," said Neil Rodrigues, Chief Executive Officer, OBS.
Under the partnership, chargeback dispute automation is available now to OBS customers and live in production. The two companies will go to market jointly, including joint demonstrations, customer education, and share onboarding across OBS's wholesale and distribution base.
