Read-only. No migration. No new software.

ROI-AI connects to the systems you already run, with read-only connectors to your ERP and retailer portals. There is no data migration, no rip-and-replace, and no change to how your AR team works.

We connect to your systems, ingest historical chargebacks, and Roy starts disputing, learning your retailer patterns immediately. You are connected to your ERP, EDI, and email, with no new software to learn.

Read-only data flow: one direction, out of your systems into the evidence packet, and on to the retailerA one-way, read-only data flow. On one side are the customer's own systems: their ERP, which is the system of record and is connected read-only, the mailbox where retailer notices land, and the retailer portals and EDI feeds. Every arrow points away from those systems. Data flows out of them and into ROI-AI, and no arrow points back in. ROI-AI reads the purchase order and EDI 850, the invoice, the bill of lading and proof of delivery, and the remittance advice and chargeback notice, and assembles them into an evidence packet. The finished dispute then goes out to the retailer, filed to the retailer portal or emailed to the retailer contact. Nothing is written back into the customer's ERP. What connecting does not require of you

The most useful thing to know about connecting ROI-AI is what it does not require of you.

Do I have to migrate my data?

No. There is no data migration. Your records stay where they are, in the system of record you already run.

Do I have to replace or change my ERP?

No. Nothing is replaced. Roy reads from the system you already have, and the rest of your stack is untouched.

Does my AR team have to learn new software?

No. There is no new software for your team to learn. Your team keeps working the way it works, and you interact with Roy by email and messaging.

Do you write anything back into my ERP?

No. The connectors are read-only. Roy reads evidence out of your systems, and nothing is written back into them.

What read-only actually means

Read-only means data moves in one direction: out of your systems and into the evidence packet. Roy pulls the invoices, shipping documents, and order records that prove a deduction is invalid, and the finished dispute goes to the retailer, never back into your ERP.

Roy gathers evidence from your ERP and EDI. It matches each chargeback against your invoices, BOLs, and proof-of-delivery, assembling the documentation that proves the deduction is invalid. Packets are then filed to the retailer portal or emailed to the right contact, and tracked until the money comes back.

That is the whole direction of travel. Your ERP is a source. It is never a destination.

What Roy actually reads

Roy reads the records that decide a deduction: the purchase order, the invoice, the bill of lading and proof of delivery, the EDI 850, the remittance advice, and the chargeback notice itself.

Each one is read because it answers a specific question a retailer will ask:

  • Purchase order and EDI 850: what was ordered, at what price, on what terms.
  • Invoice: what was billed against that order.
  • Bill of lading and proof of delivery: what physically shipped, and what the receiver signed for.
  • Remittance advice and the chargeback notice: what was deducted, and the reason code the retailer applied.

Together those records support the three-way match, purchase order to invoice to proof of delivery or BOL, on quantity, price, and ship or receipt. That match is what turns a disputed deduction into a documented one.

Records are read from your ERP, from the mailboxes where retailer notices land, and from the retailer portals themselves.

If the ERP cannot be connected

An ERP connection is not the only way in. Chargebacks arrive by retailer portal, by email, and by EDI, and Roy works from those channels too.

Roy monitors every retailer deduction as it lands, classifies the reason code, and flags the ones worth disputing. The read-only connectors reach your retailer portals as well as your ERP, so a deduction that never touches your ERP is still seen, still classified, and still disputed.

What you actually have to do

On your side, connecting comes down to granting read access: to the ERP, to the mailbox where retailer notices land, and to the retailer portals you already log into. We do the rest, and you are live in weeks, not months.

The integration work is ours. Our team does it, not your IT team, and there is nothing for your AR desk to configure. There are no setup fees and no long-term lock-in.

The AMT ERP partnership

The connector library is real, and one of those connections is a publicly announced partnership. Optimal Business Solutions (OBS), maker of AMT ERP for fashion and general merchandise wholesalers, partnered with ROI-AI to bring automated chargeback dispute recovery to AMT ERP customers.

Who reviews what gets filed

To the customer, Roy runs autonomously. Most of Roy’s work is auto-submitted; ROI-AI’s own analysts review the exceptions that need judgment, and the auto-submitted share keeps growing. This is our AI-native Service-as-a-Software model: the oversight is ours, not yours.
